Senator Cardin visits Eastern Shore

On Monday, August 6, Sen. Benjamin Cardin and Rep. Wayne Gilchrest toured Fair Hill Farms in Chestertown, home of Ed and Marian Fry, to witness the effects of the recent drought firsthand.

The tour was followed by a roundtable discussion with regional farmers, who briefed Sen. Cardin and Rep. Gilchrest on the expected local economic impacts from changes in the Farm Bill.
